Lawn Care & Weekly Cuts
We cut on a fixed day each week so your lawn is never the one that got skipped. Height is set by grass type and season — taller through July and August to hold moisture and shade out crabgrass, lower in spring and fall. Blades stay sharp, direction alternates to stop ruts and grain, and clippings are mulched back unless growth is heavy enough to mat.

Bush Trimming & Pruning
Shearing everything into a green meatball is fast, and it slowly kills the plant. We prune to the plant: thinning cuts to open the interior to light and air, heading cuts only where shape needs holding. Timing follows bloom — spring bloomers right after they finish, summer bloomers while dormant — so you never lose a season of flower.

Mulch Installation
Beds get weeded and cultivated first, then a crisp spade edge, then mulch at two to three inches — deep enough to smother weed seed, shallow enough that roots still breathe. We keep it pulled back off trunks and stems; piling mulch against bark holds rot and invites voles. Double-shredded hardwood by default, dyed or pine bark on request.

Flower Planting & Garden Design
Annual rotations for the spots people actually look at — entry, walk, mailbox, patio — and perennial and shrub work for everything that has to hold up on its own. We plan for bloom succession so something is always doing the work, and we pick to the site: sun, soil, drainage, salt, and how much deer pressure you honestly have.

Leaf Cleanup & Yard Maintenance
Leaves left to mat down over winter smother the crown and hand you bare patches and snow mold in March. We clear turf, beds and tight corners — not just the open lawn — and cut perennials back where they should be cut, leaving them standing where the plant wants the cover. Spring cleanup reverses it: pull winter debris, re-edge, and open the beds back up.

Gutter Cleaning
A packed gutter overflows at the fascia, soaks the sheathing, and drops the whole roof line's water straight against your foundation. We hand-clear the troughs, flush and confirm every downspout actually runs, check that outlets carry water away from the house, and flag loose hangers or separated seams before they become a repair.
